Tui-Na is the traditional Chinese medical form of massage. It can be done light- or deep-tissue-style. It utilizes the teachings of Chi-Gong to combine pushing, rubbing, and tapping the body's muscles, acupressure points and energy meridians. It can treat all manner of bodily ills and sicknesses. As Tui-Na sees it, this is accomplished by restoring the balance between your body's Yin and Yang energies, which constitute all things.
Chi-Gong is the ancient Chinese practice of controlling the flow of vital energy. Bruce Lee, Jet Li and other martial artists have used it to perfect their skill. Chi-Gong bodywork masters use it capture and direct energy within your body for energy and health. Chi-Gong uses the body's energy corridors (meridians) to diagnose and treat a large number of conditions, such as Pain, Stress, Tension, Fatigue, Insomnia, Depression, and Impotence.
Ho Guan (Cupping Therapy), a 2,500-year old form of deep tissue bodywork. It is virtually unknown in the West, though our therapists have been practicing it for years. It became a bit of a celebrity fad when the New York Post (July 9, 2004) reported that Gwyneth Paltrow and Ashley Judd have used this therapy. Cupping therapy targets the acupressure points in a very targeted way, and is considered one of the most effective forms of deep-tissue therapy available.

Acupuncture is a means of adjusting the body's bio-electrical energy (Chi) through the insertion of fine, disposable, sterilized needles into carefully selected acupuncture points along the energy meridians of the body. The needles, which have a rounded end rather than a sharp cutting one, are inserted into the points and are then manipulated with a gentle pumping action, by twirling or leaving in place for a few minutes. These motions stimulate the flow of energy and remove blockages so that the Chi can be dispersed and regulated. When the Chi is flowing properly throughout the body, the balance is restored and improved health results.
